QUIZ: Are you a walking lesbian stereotype?

It certainly is a list of stereotypes, but leaves out most of the Dykes and longtime and Lifelong Lesbians I know, especially those of us who are working class. About half is good, but the rest??? Seems very aimed at the trendy and privileged, and young and those wanting to fit in with the young, and Fems who are trying to look like Dykes, but not Butches. In my experience, many who fit the posing half will have gone back to men in a few years and do not come across like real Lesbians.

Lesbianism isn’t a costume, Bev. This is a joke about stereotypes given to us (female homosexuals, not women who “chose lesbianism”) – some we’re proud of and have come from our culture, some that are forced upon us. I’m working class and I am in my early 30s. A female homosexual is a female homosexual no matter what she wears and what interests she has. Please research all the studies out there that prove you can never change someone’s sexual orientation, only suppress it. That not only applies to conversion therapy, but promising women they can “become lesbians.” They can’t.
